AIM Carbon Launches Distribution of Improved Cookstoves in Malawi

AIM Carbon, a global developer of innovative climate solutions, has officially launched the distribution of improved cookstoves in Malawi, marking a significant step in its mission to combat climate change and enhance community resilience. Over the next nine months, the company aims to deploy up to 250,000 advanced cookstoves across Malawi. This initiative is projected to prevent up to 3 million tons of CO₂ equivalent emissions, aligning with AIM Carbon’s broader plan to distribute over 1.3 million cookstoves in Malawi, Ghana, and other African nations within the next five years.

“This marks the first step in our multi-year, multi-country initiative to implement impactful carbon projects across Africa. By leveraging the latest technological advancements, we aim to deliver sustainable solutions that not only address climate change through carbon sequestration but also contribute to the economic and social development of the communities we work with.” – Igor Akhmerov, CEO of AIM Carbon emphasized.

AIM Carbon specializes in the development and implementation of innovative climate projects that help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through nature-based solutions and strategic partnerships with local and international stakeholders. The company’s ambitious cookstove distribution program is expected to reduce 16 million tons of CO₂ emissions while positively impacting the lives of more than 5 million people across Africa.

This initiative underscores AIM Carbon’s commitment to transforming environmental challenges into sustainable business opportunities. By addressing critical issues like deforestation and carbon emissions, the program not only contributes to global climate goals but also supports the well-being and livelihoods of local communities.
